Why am I desensitized to the people living on the street?
Why don't they cry when they pry for loose change?
You'd do the fucking same.
I question my motifs and beliefs
While I learn religion and philosophy
But it's all shit and that's all fucked
Everyday we are forced to sympathize
So why can't I find the heart to devise a solution for both you and I?

Remember when it was all we had?
It now exists as my dysfunctional punk romance
To rehabilitate would be to erase all the poetry that I engrained(in my mind)
